The National general secretary of the Congress party and election observer for Uttarakhand Mohan Prakash has said that the Congress would soon announce the names of the candidates in Uttarakhand and increase the scale of election campaign. Prakash who was in Dehradun on Tuesday, said that he has arrived to give impetus to election strategy and campaigning in Uttarakhand.
Launching an attack on the BJP, he said that the party has totally destroyed the democratic values. He said that the BJP assumes a stoic silence on the issues of unemployment, price rise and farmers.
The Congress leaders and workers accorded a warm welcome to Prakash on his arrival at the Congress Bhawan. Addressing the party workers, Prakash said that the role of the booth management becomes even more important in the present times when the Election Commission (EC) has banned rallies. He exhorted the party workers to visit every household and inform about anti people policies of the state government and its failure in bringing down prices and unemployment.
