A man died and three sustained injuries after a utility vehicle they were travelling in met an accident near Sukki Top on Gangotri National Highway on Wednesday. The deceased man was identified as a local man named Vijaypal Singh (50). The injured include Ratan Giri (40), Suresh Singh (26) and Ayush Semwal (17). Ratan sustained serious injuries while the remaining two sustained minor wounds. The officials said that the vehicle was going to Uttarkashi from Gangotri and the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
