Addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Kartar Bhadana in Faridabad (Haryana) on Wednesday, Dhami said that India is scaling new heights of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dhami said that India has become the fifth largest economy of the world. He said that PM Modi is working hard to fulfil the dream of Viksit Bharat by considering 140 crore Indians as his family members. The CM said that many schemes of welfare of poor are going on the country and added that schemes such as Jandhan Yojana, Ujjawala Yojana, Har Ghar Nal Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, Kisan Samridhi Yojana, PM Aawas Yojana, Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana and others have changed the lives of crores of people in the country.

PM Modi has taken many historic decisions such as implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), ban on triple talaq and construction of a majestic temple in Ayodhya. He said that our armed forces are more powerful now. Dhami said that Uttarakhand has become the first State in the country where Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has been implemented.

Launching an attack on the Congress, the CM said that its objective is to come to power by spreading canard and engaging in the politics of dynasty.  He said that while PM Modi talks about UCC, the Congress talks about Muslim personal law board. The Congress leaders are making plans to impose inheritance tax.

He appealed to the people to vote for the BJP candidate Bhadana and send him to parliament. It will help in  making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive term, he said.
