The chairperson of Uttarakhand State Commission for Women (USCW) Kusum Kandwal said that the ideal of gender equality is being realised on the ground with men and women now enjoying equal rights and opportunities. She said this while addressing the Women Scientists Conclave-2023 organised by Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) on Wednesday in Dehradun. Presently, our endeavour is to reconcile scientific principles with societal considerations and integrate traditional knowledge. USERC has endeavoured to establish a platform where women can contemplate, innovate, present, progress and strive towards enduring resolutions. The ultimate objective of this gathering is to promote inclusive and accessible education of superior quality, gender parity and the empowerment of women and girls.”
