In latest news from Uttarakhand, a bike rider was killed in a bike-tempo collision in Lambakhera village under Rudrapur police station limits in Udham Singh Nagar district. Police said that the bike had a head-on collision with the tempo which was coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased was identified as Baljit Singh (35), resident of Rampur. He was heading towards Nanakmatta Sahib from Rampur when the mishap occurred. The body was sent for post-mortem.
