STF plans to confiscate property of UKSSSC paper leak accused

Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has sent the property assessment report of Vipin Bihari, one of the main accused in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) graduate level recruitment examination leak case, to the Dehradun district magistrate for attachment of his assets worth Rs one crore. 

The senior superintendent of police of STF, Ayush Agrawal said that Bihari was the supervisor of RMS Techno Solutions Private Limited that managed the printing of UKSSSC’s examination papers. He informed that Bihari was also involved in irregularities in the recruitment examinations of Village Panchayat Development Officer (VPDO) and Uttarakhand Police Sub-inspector recruitment in 2015-16. The SSP said that the STF has completed the valuation of all movable and immovable assets of Bihari which are collectively worth Rs one crore. He has 23 bighas of land adjacent to Lucknow-Sitapur Highway in the name of his family member whose market value is about Rs 65 lakh.

Besides this, he also owns a 650 square feet plot in Lucknow and has Rs four lakhs deposited in various bank accounts, said Agrawal. The STF has sent the assessment report to the DM Sonika for Bihari’s property attachment under the Gangster Act. The authorities will seize his property after the approval of the DM. The STF has arrested over 40 people in the case so far and is presently taking action against 24 accused under the Gangster Act. Agrawal said that the STF had already sent property valuation reports of seven accused to the DM out of which, the authorities have confiscated the properties of four culprits including the main accused Hakam Singh. The STF will complete the assessment reports of the remaining accused soon too to confiscate their properties too, said Agrawal.
