Haridwar SSP reverts SI and 6 constables to Police line for negligence

The senior superintendent of police of Haridwar Ajai Singh on Wednesday reverted all police personnel of Bhikkampur Chowki of the Laksar area to Police Line for the alleged negligence in an accident case in which a man and child were killed on Tuesday. The man identified as Krishnapal was going to drop his five-year-old daughter and his neighbour’s son at school on his two-wheeler when a tractor trolley allegedly carrying illegal mining material ran over them. Krishnapal and the boy died on the spot while the girl sustained serious injuries. She was sent to a higher centre for medical help where her health was quite critical till late Wednesday evening, as per the officials.  The police said that the trolley driver had escaped from the spot after people started gathering there but the police seized the trolley. Taking cognisance of the negligence by the respective Chowki in-charge regarding the accident by the tractor trolley carrying illegal mining material, the SSP on Wednesday issued an order to revert all seven police personnel deployed in Bhikkampur Chowki to the Police line. The seven police personnel included sub inspector of the Chowki Deepak Mamgain and six constables. Singh said that the police are working to nab the accused and he will not tolerate any negligence by the police officials at any level on such matters.
