The state health department of Uttarakhand reported 12 new patients of the Covid-19 in the state on Thursday. Death of no patient was reported in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 18 patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 92,681 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,059 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.09 per cent on Thursday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.61 per cent on the day. The health department reported seven new patients from Dehradun, three from Haridwar and one each from Almora and Nainital on Thursday.
The number of active patients of Covid-19 in the state was at 97 on Thursday. Dehradun with 58 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 14 and Nainital nine active cases of the disease. Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh now have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 18,513 people were vaccinated in 944 sessions in the state held on Thursday.
