CM visits national roll ball championship, encourages players

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the ongoing 16th sub junior (under 14) boys and girls national roll ball championship at Parade ground on Saturday. The championship is being organised by the roll ball federation of India at the multipurpose hall of the Parade ground. The CM also watched the match between Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh and encouraged the players. Before the start of the match he met the players and exhorted them to highlight the name of the State and country in the field.

The four-day national sub junior championship (Under- 14) commenced in Dehradun on April 25. A total of 28 teams of boys and girls from all parts of the country are taking part in the championship.

 The president of the national roll ball federation Pankaj Bharadwaj, Secretary Chirtanji Negi, Amit Bhatia, Ashish Negi, Varun Pratap Singh, Priyank Sharma, Pramod Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
