Harnaaz Sandhu makes nation proud, bags the Miss Universe 2021 title

The nation jumped with joy as Indian representative Harnaaz Sandhu won the Miss Universe 2021 title on Monday. The 21-year old girl from Punjab represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021 which took place in Isreal. She brought the crown home after 21 years as Lara Dutta had won it in the year 2000. Sandhu’s win was over 79 other international competitors. Meanwhile, Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira was the 1st runner up while Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane came in as the 2nd runner up.
