The state health department has sent a proposal regarding this to the state administration.  It is pertinent to mention here that the state government had reserved beds in the private hospitals for Covid-19 patients last year also when the cases of the disease were at peak. The contagion of the disease has also reached an alarming level now and all the government hospitals are full with the patients. It is learnt that the government could also fix maximum charges which the private hospitals can take from the covid-19 patients.

The Director General (DG) of state health services Dr Tripti Bahuguna said that the department would send a proposal for reservation of beds in private hospitals to the state administration and a final decision on it would be taken by administration.
