The Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at the Pine Hall School in Dehradun. The principal Rama Anand unfurled the national flag and various cultural programmes were presented by the students to mark this day. Anand recounted while addressing the students how the country has progressed in all realms since independence. In addition, he motivated them to contribute positively to the nation’s growth. The school was decked up appropriately for the celebration with the tri-colour adorning walls and corridors.
