The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at the IIM Kashipur with gaiety with special emphasis laid on the institute’s inclusive spirit and education’s role in fostering unity and excellence. The institute’s director Kulbhushan Balooni and CAO, M Ramasubramanian unfurled the national flag together amidst the playing of the national anthem. Balooni said that proper implementation of the National Education Policy- 2020 would usher in the nation’s phenomenal growth through the medium of education. He exhorted the students to balance material prosperity with their inner growth. In addition, the students presented cultural performances, including singing, dancing, poetry recitation and street play. It culminated in accolade ceremony for some outstanding MBA students.
