The police challaned five accused for firing in the air from a pistol during a liquor party. The licensed pistol of the contractor has also been seized. Jwalapur police station inspector RK Saklani informed that a late night party was reported in Subhashnagar area. Local residents reported that some people were drinking in a house and one of them came out and fired several rounds from a pistol.
Acting on the information, the police reached the spot and inquired about the incident. It was learnt that the pistol belonged to contractor Pulkit Pawar, a resident of Jhabreda area. Inspector Saklani said that all the accused have been challaned under the Police Act. Along with this, the licensed pistol of the contractor has been seized. The report for license cancellation is being sent to the district magistrate, he added.
