Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tribal society is being brought into the national mainstream. He was addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Sanjay Seth in Ranchi, Jharkhand on Thursday.
Dhami said that for the first time the welfare schemes are being made by keeping the interests of the tribal population and deprived sections at centre.
He said that Jharkhand is famous for its forest and mineral wealth and valour of the tribal society. The CM said that the tribal brethrens were the first to raise their voice against British rule. He said that the States of Uttarakhand and Jharkhand were created together and both share many similarities.
Dhami said that today the country is having its first tribal women President which is a matter of great pride for all the citizens. He said that BJP in its Sankalp Patra has decided to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda in 2025 as Janjateeya Gaurav Diwas.
He said that today India is very powerful and is moving ahead on the path of becoming a developed nation which proves that our country is in safe hands. Listing out various schemes of social welfare, the CM said that these schemes are not merely on paper but are the guarantees of Modi. Apart from these schemes, PM Modi has taken many historic decisions such as abrogation of article 370, law on triple talaq, Citizenship Amendment
Act (CAA) and construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Dhami said that Uttarakhand has implemented Uniform Civil Code (UC) and taken stern action on land Jihad. He said that the Modi government has also focussed on infrastructure development of Jharkhand.
Terming the INDIA bloc as a gang of scamsters, Dhami said that former CM Hemant Soren is in jail on charges of money laundering and land scam.
The ‘royal family’ of Congress party has looted the nation for 60 years while the RJD’s Lalu family has many records in its name in corruption. Dhami appealed to the people to vote for the BJP candidate to make Narendra Modi, the PM of the country for the third consecutive term.
