In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Corbett administration has banned movement of 46 gypsies for seven to 15 days for violating the speed limit imposed by it inside the tiger reserve and national park area. Notably, the administration is tracking the speed of more than 350 gypsies moving inside the designated reserve forest area through GPS.

Informing the administration’s ban on 46 gypsies, the park warden said that such speed tracking and banning of gypsies would continue and in case of repeat violation, sterner actions would be taken. Notably, the speed limit imposed by the administration inside the tiger reserve area is 20 km per hour.
