In latest news from Uttarakhand, the portals of Madhmaheshwar shrine-revered as the second among the five Kedars (Panch Kedar) located in Rudraprayag district-have ritualistically opened amidst Vedic mantras in the presence of over 300 devotees. The media in-charge of the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Harish Gaur said that after the Doli of the Lord Madhmaheswar had arrived, the portal- opening ceremony started at around 10 am and the portals were opened at 11.15 am by the priests in accordance with the traditional rituals.
