Maintain sanctity of CMO: Raturi to officers, employees

The additional chief secretary (ACS), Radha Raturi has said that the chief minister’s office (CMO) is the most important office in the State and it acts as the guiding light for other departments. On the direction given by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the ACS took a meeting of the officers and employees of the CMO at the secretariat on Monday.

She advised the employees for the fast disposal of files and said that they should refrain from putting undue objections on files. Raturi said that the system of e -office has been set in place for simplification and effective solution of the public grievances. She directed that a standard format of the applications for the financial assistance from the CM discretionary fund.

Raturi said that the CM has clearly ordered that there should be no question mark on the functioning of the employees of the CMO.

 She directed the officers and employees of the CMO to remain alert on the cyber frauds and said that they should promptly complain any such incident to the SSP (STF). The ACS directed that better arrangement of record keeping in CMO should be done and said that there should be a better upkeep of files, regular weeding to remove unnecessary material, sanitation, use of latest computer hardware and other things in the CMP office. She also emphasised on better division of work in the six sections of the CMO.

 The meeting was attended by secretary SN Pandey, additional secretary Jagdish Kandpal, all six section officers and review officers of the CMO.
