In a road accident on Chamba-Rishikesh road, an accident occurred in which five people were injured, two of them seriously. The seriously injured were referred to the higher medical centres. The accident happened when a car going to Uttarkashi from Rishikesh turned turtle. There were five persons travelling in the car. All of them were injured. They were taken to the nearest CHC by ambulance. Later two of them were referred to Rishikesh, given their serious injuries. The police station in- charge, Narendra Nagar Nadim Akhtar said that the injured were identified as Anita, Laxmi Prasad, Sulochona Devi, Rudra Devi and Kedar Datta.
