The Union Bank of India and the Municipal Corporation Dehradun together organised a tree plantation programme at Harrawala on Saturday with the participation of the Doon mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’.
The regional head of UBI Loknath Sahu said on the occasion that his bank keeps launching tree plantation drives across the country. He further said that UBI is providing several facilities to its customers, including home loans, personal loans and fixed deposit schemes, at all its 100 branches across Uttarakhand. Saplings of various plants were planted during the programme.
Among others present were Dehradun deputy municipal commissioner Rohitash Sharma, chief manager UBI regional office Sanjay Upadhyay and chief manager, main branch Dehradun, Surendra Singh Gusain.
