The accused allegedly made survivor eat intoxicant-laced pizza

In latest Uttarakhand news, police arrested a tractor driver on the charge of sexually assaulting a woman after making her eat pizza laced with intoxicant. Police registered a case on the basis of a complaint filed by the survivor’s mother at Nehru Colony police station. Sharing details of the case, the officer in-charge Nehru Colony police station Lokendra Bahuguna said that when the survivor who worked as a maid was returning home after doing her day’s works at around 10 pm the accused Rambabu, resident of Nehru Colony, goaded her to go with him on the pretext of buying her a pizza. The pizza having been laced with intoxicant, the accused allegedly raped her, as per the complaint. On returning home, she recounted her ordeal to her mother who filed the police complaint, Bahuguna said and added that police are now investigating the case.
