Two men had a lucky escape after a boulder fell on their car near Taiya bridge on the national highway to Badrinath in Chamoli district on Tuesday. The police reached the site on being informed about the mishap involving the car going from Badrinath towards Ghaziabad and managed to rescue Rajendra Parashar and Swapnil who were stuck in the vehicle. The car was shifted to the side of the road while the duo was administered primary treatment and sent towards their destination. The police then cleared the jam and restored traffic on the road.
