Along with the reopening of the portals of Kedarnath, the doors of the Bhairav temple will also open on April 25. Aarti will also be performed in Kedarnath from the first day itself. Notably, Aarti starts in Kedarnath shrine only after the doors of Bhairav temple open.
The doors of Kedarnath Dham will reopen for the devotees on April 25. As this is a Tuesday, the doors of the Bhairav temple located in Kedarnath will reopen on the same day. This is because of the ancient belief that the doors of the Bhairav temple open on the first Tuesday or Saturday that comes after the portals of Kedarnath open.
