In latest news from Uttarakhand, while the plains in the State have been reeling under sweltering heat for the past few days, the sky in Nainital remained overcast. It rained in the evening moderately and subsequently, the temperature came down substantially and it felt cool. The tourists looked happy. “It feels cool here after the rain spell. The sky is overcast with possibility of more spells. We feel happy being away from the scorching heat of Delhi,” said a tourist from the national capital.
As per the local meteorological centre, the minimum temperatures were hovering between 18 and 13 degree Celsius.
