As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Canara Bank regional office at IT Park distributed masks and sanitisers to dependents of Missionaries of Charity’s Sneha Sadan here. The regional office divisional manager Rajesh Singh Kataria said that this year is full of challenges for the whole world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During such a time, people must protect themselves and also work to protect their families, neighbours and society. Stressing on the need to observe all guidelines and precautions, he also referred to the bank’s founder Ammembal Subba Rao Pai who was also into social service. Rajpur Road main branch senior manager SN Joshi and other bank officials were also present on the occasion.
