The Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam will hold a meeting with office bearers and leaders of the party here on Saturday. According to the BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, the programmes of the party organisation and various other issues will be discussed in the meeting to be held at the party’s State office in Dehradun.
Chauhan informed that the meeting which is slated to start at 11 AM on Saturday morning will also be attended by the party’s national vice president and State co-in-charge Rekha Verma, BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt and State general secretary (Organisation) Ajaey. The future programmes of the party, making office bearers more active at the booth level and other organisational issues are slated to be discussed in the meeting. The outline of future programmes to raise public awareness about the works of the Central and State governments will also be prepared in the meeting. All State office bearers of the party, district heads, district in-charges, State spokespersons and State heads of the party’s various cells will be attending the meeting.
It is pertinent to mention here that this meeting comes within days of the defeat suffered by the BJP in the Assembly elections in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh where a number of party leaders from Uttarakhand had also gone to campaign.
