Quality products at affordable prices main reason for high consumption of Patanjali products

There has been a huge increase in the consumption of Patanjali products in recent years in Uttarakhand as the brand has established itself as a trusted one among the masses. People in urban as well as in rural mountainous areas have been using these products on a large scale. The Pioneer recently talked to some people who have been religiously using these products for at least the last three years.

The conversation with these people revealed that people have a variety of reasons to trust and use Patanjali products like their preference to consume natural and herbal products, affordable product prices or just their sheer trust in Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. Many also considered Patanjali products as affordable alternatives to other prominent branded products in the market.

A Dehradun resident Swati Saini said that she has been using Patanjali products for the past five years. “Initially, I used to buy Patanjali herbal juices like Giloy or Amla because my mother claimed that its regular consumption made her stomach feel lighter. Then I bought some edible products like atta noodles, biscuits and Amla candies that my children liked as well. Most of the ingredients in my house whether it is atta, rice or any snack are brought from Patanjali. I am soon going to try their other products like shampoos and creams,” said Saini.

A 26-year-old banker Shivani Rawat also stated that she likes using Patanjali haircare products as they do not damage her hair like other products. “I have a dry scalp and dandruff becomes a big issue for me during winters. I saw a video on YouTube in 2019 suggesting Patanjali anti-dandruff shampoo so I bought it. That was the cheapest shampoo bottle I ever bought and I could see that it worked for me after two washes. Since then, I have tried face creams and other haircare products from Patanjali. Since most of the Patanjali products are affordable and consumers have various options to choose from, it is easy to try them out to know whether a particular product will work for you or not in the long run,” said Rawat.

A senior citizen Bharat Singh said that he uses almost every product of Patanjali whether it is a toothpaste, shampoo, snacks, detergents, eye drops or food ingredients like atta, rice and spices among others. “And why not? Patanjali is an Indian brand. It is giving good quality products at affordable prices. We pay extra money to other multinational companies in the name of getting good quality products. Patanjali provides the same at affordable prices. It has established a strong presence across the country and it is obviously because people like their products,” said Singh.
