Senior BJP leader and former chief minister (CM) of Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti was discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh on Saturday. Bharati was admitted to the institute last week after she complained of a fever. She was tested positive for Covid-19 on September 27. The Medical Superintendent (MS) of AIIMS Rishikesh, Brijendra Singh said that all necessary tests were done on Bharti in the hospital. He said that at present she is having no symptoms of Covid-19 and hence she was discharged as per policy. The doctors have advised the BJP to remain in home isolation for some days.
