A truce seems to have been struck as a sulking Punjab Congress president Navjot Sidhu on Thursday met the party central leadership and emerged to say that he had expressed his “concerns regarding Punjab and Punjab Congress to the party high-command.
I have full faith in Congress president, Priyanka and Rahul. Whatever decision they’ll take, it’ll be for the betterment of Congress and Punjab,” he said.
Sidhu had tendered his resignation over differences over some inductions in the Channi Cabinet. “Sidhu will work as Punjab Congress president and set up an organisational structure.
An announcement will be made on Friday,” Congress’ Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat said.
