In view of the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, the Dehradun district magistrate (DM) R Rajesh Kumar has issued an order to keep all the schools and educational institutes closed within 500 metres of the Parade Ground on Saturday. Kumar issued the order to restrict any movement in the area from 10 am to 3 pm as Modi is scheduled to address a public meeting in Parade Ground.
He has directed the chief education officer to ensure the closure of all government and private educational institutions as per the orders.
