The Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) department of critical care medicine in collaboration with Dehradun Society of Critical Care Medicine organised a workshop on ultrasound in critical care at SRHU on Saturday.
The university vice chancellor Rajendra Dobhal and other officials were present during the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, Dobhal stressed on the importance of ultrasound and evidence-based medicine in medical science. He emphasised the importance of utilising high-technology gadgets to provide cost-effective treatment. Additionally, Vijendra Chauhan, the director general of academics, explained how ultrasound can aid in making an early diagnosis, which is considerably beneficial in patient care.
During the programme many doctors shared their experience and covered the basics of ultrasound. Apart from this, many experiences relating to ultrasound were also presented during the workshop.
