The State Health department of Uttarakhand reported 10 new patients of the Covid-19 in the state on Sunday. Death of no patient was reported in the state on the day. The authorities also declared four patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 93,007 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 89,320 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the State since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.04 per cent on Sunday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.73 per cent on the day. The Health department reported four new patients each from Dehradun, three from Udham Singh Nagar, two from Haridwar and one from Uttarkashi on Sunday. No cases were reported from the remaining nine districts on the day.
The number of active patients of Covid-19 in the State was at 129 on Sunday. Dehradun with 82 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Uttarkashi has 12 active cases. Bageshwar, Champawat, Pithoragarh and Tehri now have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 5,095 people were vaccinated in 228 sessions in the state held on Sunday.
