General tickets will be made available for passengers for travelling in express and mail trains. The system of reservation tickets will end from general coaches of five trains from December 10. Tickets can be purchased from general ticket counter and ATVM machine for travel in general coach. The general ticket will reportedly be available for five pairs of trains including Janata Express, Mussoorie Express, Hemkund Express, Amritsar-Dehradun, Prayagraj-Rishikesh-Prayagraj. Passengers will be able to travel by ordinary ticket without reservation. All the trains were being run in the special category and the sale of unreserved tickets was stopped. Passengers had to travel by paying higher fares after the lockdown period. They will get a lot of relief due to the introduction of unreserved tickets in trains.
