Multi-sports facilities open at Rising Star Sports Academy

The Rising Star Sports Academy was inaugurated at Jhajhra to offer facilities for badminton, cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis and other sports on the same premises.  The academy directors Rohit Bhatia and Anil Bhatia inaugurated various sporting activities at the academy on Sunday. The director general of police Ashok Kumar visited the academy and inspected the badminton hall and other facilities. The DGP said that for some years now, sports have also become a means of livelihood and not remained only a source of recreation. Along with being a career option, sports are also very important for personal health, he said while adding that every person should be involved in some sport.

Kabaddi association head Vimal Dabral said that sports help people avoid various mental and physical issues in these times of busy schedules and stressful lives. Olympian Arun Sood said that it is a good sign that more sporting talent is emerging from rural populace than from urban populace.

According to the officials of the academy, the Rising Star Sports Academy is eager to provide all possible support to sports lovers in urban areas and sporting talent in rural areas. Various sportspersons and officials were also felicitated on the occasion for their contributions.
