Children aged upto 12 years will now be able to visit the Nainital zoo free of cost. The State government has taken the decision to allow free entry in the zoo to children aged upto 12 years. Providing this information, the Nainital zoo ranger Ajay Rawat said that a government order to this effect had also been issued by the State administration. On the first day of this free facility for children, more than 400 children including locals and tourists were allowed free entry in the zoo. It is pertinent to mention here that till now, the ticket for children used to cost Rs 50 at the zoo but now children within the age limit are being allowed free entry.
