Patanjali delegation meets minister on agri/ horti initiatives

In latest news from Dehradun, a delegation led by Patanjali’s deputy general manager Rishi Kumar called on the State Agriculture minister Ganesh Joshi at the latter’s camp office.
During the meeting, Patanjali delegation apprised the minister of the multiple initiatives taken by Patanjali and Prakriti Organic India Private Limited in the fields of agriculture and horticulture.  The minister had approved the implementation of the honey traceability system in Haridwar and also the training programme for bee-keepers to be conducted by Patanjali Yogpeeth and National Bee Board (NBB), Kumar said. Besides, the delegation requested the minister to approve execution of B-POS ERP system in the naya panchayats of Uttarakhand. Kumar told the minister that once the long-terms projects initiated by Patanjali start operating it would prove immensely beneficial for the farmers engaged in horticulture. He further said that the minister had given necessary directives to the director agriculture K C Pathak who was present at the meeting to take prompt actions on the matters raised by them.
