The Haridwar circle office of Punjab National Bank (PNB) was presented the Rajbhasha Vaijanti first prize at the 37th meeting of the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanyavan Samiti (NRKS) organised in Haridwar. Among those who attended the programme was the director, THDCIL (Personnel) Shailinder Singh aside from a number of senior Central government officers working in various projects from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Roorkee and the mountainous areas of the State.
At the meeting, selected agencies which come under the NRKS Rajbhasha Vaijanti Yojana were presented the Rajbhasha shields. As per the PNB press release, the Haridwar circle of the bank won the first prize in the category of the nationalised banks and insurance companies and THDCIL director (Personnel) Shailinder Singh presented the shield to the PNB representatives. Expressing happiness over the award presented to the bank, the PNB’s Haridwar circle office chief S N Dubey urged all officers and employees of the bank to continue working in the direction of the enrichment of Hindi language.
