Heavy rainfall likely in three districts today

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in parts of three districts on Saturday. The State meteorological centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts today. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall/thunderstorms are likely to occur at most places in Kumaon region and at many places in Garhwal region with intense showers likely at isolated places in the districts.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness partly to generally cloudy skies. Light to moderate rainfall / thundershowers are likely to occur, which ay be intense in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 31 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Friday were 31.4 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 33.1 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 20 degrees Celsius and 15.3 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 24.2 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
