Two semifinals of Mangu Lal Dhingiya Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament played

Semifinal matches were played on the fourth day of the Mangu Lal Dhingiya Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament being organised by Uttarakhand Football Arena. The first semifinal match was played between Cambridge School and Shivalik Academy. In the first half, it was 0-0. However, in the second half, Shivalik Academy’s Sanjay Singh scored two back- to- back goals in 32^nd and 33^rd minutes of the game. Thereafter, Shivalik Academy won the match and reached the final.

The second semifinal was played between Maharana Pratap Sports College (MPSC) and Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM). In the 2^nd minute of the game, MVM’s Aniket scored a goal and provided 1-0 lead to its school. In the second half, MPSC’s Aryan Bisht scored a hat trick in 29^th, 39^th and 45^th minutes of the game.  Then Harsh Chhimwal scored a goal in the 47^th minute, Askhit Negi in 49^th minute and Ayush Chhimwal in 52^nd minute for MPSC. The result is 6-1 in favour of MPSC.

The final match would be played between Shivalik Academy and Maharana Pratap Sports College.
