In an attempt to provide consultation to Covid -19 patients in the remote areas of the state and provide second opinion to the patients who had visited the government Primary Health Centres (PHC), CHC and District Hospitals (DH), the government Doon Medical College (GDMC) Dehradun has started Telemedicine service.
The GDMC hospital is functioning as a dedicated Covid hospital and Centre of excellence. The principal of GDMC, Dr Ashutosh Sayana said that the patients with mild symptoms and those in home isolation can call on 9045954179/ 80/81/82 for consultation. The patients can video consult on SKYPE Id digitalgdmc@gmail.com from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3pm to 5 pm. Dr Sayana said that the patients can also connect on the website www.gdmcuk.com for consultancy. He said that for a second opinion the brief history, clinical photos and investigations should be sent to email digitalgdmc@gmail.com.
