In latest news from Dehradun, the secretary Ayush Pankaj Kumar Pandey urged the Ayurveda specialists to suggest ways to develop Uttarakhand as the model of Ayurvedic excellence on the global stage. Over 40 persons, closely associated with Ayurveda, attended the programme hosted by the Ayush department in Dehradun. Pandey also urged the attendees to boost branding of Ayurveda and link Yoga with tourism. The specialists suggested large-scale cultivation of medicinal plants on cluster basis and high- quality teaching by the private Ayurveda institutions in the State as ways to help Uttarakhand emerge as a repository of the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda.
