Shriya passes entrance tests of 11 universities

Shriya Upadhyay who passed her class XII from All Saints’ College here, has succeeded in passing the entrance test of 11 prominent universities of the world. She had given the entrance test to study mathematics and physics in various universities including university of San Diego, university of Wisconsin Madison, university of Colorado Boulder, university College of London, university of Manchester, Kings College London, university of Edinburgh, Saint Andrew university and Ecole Polytechnique among others. She was selected in all the institutions. Upadhyay has chosen to study in Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France which admits about 70 students from across the world. Her father, professor Rajeev Upadhyay teaches geology at the DSB campus of Kumaon university in Nainital while her mother Ira Upadhyay is an assistant professor in the forest and environment department on the same campus.The principal of All Saints’ College, Kiran Jeremiah congratulated Shriya, recalling that she was a bright student.
