Cell to be formed in Doon to resolve issues of migrant Uttarakhandis- CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a cell will be formed in Dehradun to resolve issues of Uttarakhand natives living outside the state. He said this while interacting with migrants from Uttarakhand in the national Capital on Sunday.

Stating that a cell will be formed in Dehradun to resolve their problems, Dhami said that in addition to resolving their problems, attempt will also be made to implement their suggestions in state interest. He said, “Our migrant Uttarakhandis are participants in the state’s development and our brand ambassadors. The state government is committed to develop Uttarakhand into one of the best states of India. For this, the government is working in various spheres according to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There are immense possibilities in agriculture, horticulture, renewable energy and tourism sectors, and our youth are coming forward for self employment in these areas.” He also asked the migrant Uttarakhandis working on entrepreneurship outside the state to guide the youth of the state.

Dhami also expressed confidence that the Char Dham Yatra starting next month will strengthen tourism and religious tourism in the state. It is hoped that this time lakhs of people will undertake the Char Dham Yatra which was disrupted during the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he said. The state government has made effective efforts for all necessary arrangements to ensure that the people visiting the State do not face any inconvenience, added Dhami.
