The Bharatiya Janata Party will work to spread the issues raised in its recent national executive meeting among its workers. BJP State president Madan Kaushik said this after a meeting of the party’s MPs, MLAs and State office bearers here on Monday. The works of the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami were also discussed in the meeting.

Kaushik said that the party workers will be made aware of the seven main points raised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Hyderabad meeting and the general public will also be made aware of these and requested to imbibe the same. He said that the BJP worker is basically linked to the public and that the seven points are synonymous with public service. To ensure the welfare of every citizen, each public representative will spend 48 hours in a village with common people and take effective measures to resolve their problems. Kaushik said that prominent party workers, office bearers and public representatives should mark their presence of special days related to public and sectors related to various categories of the public and hold special discussions for the welfare.

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami informed that the works of the State government in its 100 days in office were also discussed in the meeting. The various party leaders in the meeting also expressed their views on the developmental roadmap. Stating that the BJP had won all the Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand since 2014, he said that all efforts should be made to respect public sentiments so that all sections of the society connect with the BJP. He said that all should come together on one platform and consistently ponder on social welfare, adding that the aim of power is social welfare which only the BJP can facilitate. In the past, the Congress followed the policy of divide and rule for seven decades and broke the society without doing anything for the people. He said that one has to move forward with the policy of satisfaction and not appeasement.

BJP State co in-charge Rekha Verma also expressed her views in the meeting along with other office bearers of the party.
