USEB declares class X & XII results

The Uttarakhand Sanskrit Education Board (USEB) Haridwar released the results of class X and XII examinations on Friday. In class X Rahul Vyas from Uttarkashi secured the top position in the board exam while Ayush Mamgain from Pauri topped the state in class XII. In class X, Saksham Prasad from Shri Jaidayal Aggarwal Sanskrit Vidyalay, Srinagar came second in the State and Jagdish Chandra Tiwari from Durgadutt Kapilashrami Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, Haldwani secured the third position. In the class XII, Dikshant Dangwal from Sadhu Mahavidyalay, Rishikesh and Rinki Bariha from Shri Shivnath Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, Dehradun secured the second position in the State.

Commenting on the result, secretary of USEB Chandresh Kumar Yadav congratulated the students who successfully cleared the board examinations. He also informed that a total of 754 students from class X and 722 students from class XII appeared in the examinations conducted by the USEB. Yadav emphasised that the USEB is now prioritising the preparation of Sanskrit students for not just traditional priestly roles but also for professional careers. While there are about 113 Sanskrit education colleges in the State, the department is focusing on enhancing professional training for the growing number of students. Additionally, this year, the Sanskrit Education department will introduce an academic calendar to streamline students’ academic schedules and ensure they complete their courses without any delays, eliminating any uncertainties.
