Senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its former media in-charge of Garhwal, Ravindra Singh Anand has asked the State in-charge of AAP, Barinder Kumar Goyal to reform the party organisation in Uttarakhand. He said this while meeting Goyal in Chandigarh on Thursday.

Anand discussed the current social and political conditions in the State, including the laws related to land and residence. Taking this into consideration, Goyal stated that AAP will soon establish a new executive in the State and rebuild the party organisation. He said that he had already sent the report and related matters to the party’s national general secretary Sandeep Pathak. Consequently, the formation of the executive is expected to happen soon with guidance from the national level, he said.

Goyal further emphasised that all the workers and leaders of AAP should exercise patience as a new executive in the State is forthcoming and everyone within the organisation will have their roles reinvigourated. He further stated that it is necessary to assign new responsibilities based on the examination of the workers’ and leaders’ past report cards. It is crucial for every worker to be aware that the party is actively monitoring their actions.

The party is closely observing both its leaders and workers, as well as their respective past accomplishments. The State in-charge emphasised that following the establishment of the new executive, he will undertake his State-wide tour, adding that AAP workers have been vocal about pressing matters in Uttarakhand such as land law and the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
