After prolonged illness Former Chief Minister of Gujrat Keshubhai Patel died at the age of 92 in Ahmadabad on Thursday (29th October 2020). Patel was the state chief minister in 1995 and 1998-2001.
He was born 1928 at Visavadar of Junagadh district. Keshubhai joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1945 as a pracharak. He started his political career as a worker for the Jan Sangh.
President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narednra Modi paid and Gujrat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani paid tributes to the BJP stalwart.
