UPES has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), said the university’s senior office bearers and added that this partnership aimed to offer new avenues for students to advance their education and enrich their careers in the field of finance. Notably, ACCA offers accreditation and support to professional accountants across over 180 countries. Under this partnership, UPES will offer the BBA Core (finance) programme in association with ACCA, culminating in ACCA Global Certification, recognised in over 180 countries stated UPES communique and added that the partnership would open doors to employment opportunities with top consulting firms such as Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC.
Speaking on the MoU, the director, UPES School of Business, Rahul Nainwal, said thatthrough their joint efforts with ACCA, students would gain access to globally recognised frameworks and resources essential for enhancing their academic and research endeavours. The director- India, ACCA Sajid Khan said thatthis collaboration marked a significant stride towards equipping students with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for success in today’s dynamic world of work.
