In latest news from Uttarakhand, a day after the full-grown female bear was darted and released into the wilds in the Terai East forest division, it intruded into the railway sleeper factory in Lalkuan again late into night, leaving the workers and others panicky. The forest department officers were informed again of the bear’s intrusion.
A senior forest officer, Gaula range said that trained forest staffers have been sent to the place, adding that water scarcity in the Tanda range is forcing the wild animals to intrude into localities.
