The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) will complete the evaluation of the board examination on Wednesday. Stating this, the additional secretary of UVSP Vinod Simalti informed that the process started on March 27 and will be finished on April 10. However, the results for high school and intermediate have not been announced yet because the process of declaring them is still ongoing. Once the evaluation of the board examination answer sheets is completed, the phases of rechecking and verifying the marks on the sheets will be carried out. After this, the final preparation of the declaration of the results will be done, he added.
Commenting about the declaration of the result, Simalti has stated that the UVSP is making every effort to announce the exam results by April 30. However, due to the Lok Sabha election, many officials are currently occupied with training processes, which may cause a delay in the announcement of the USVP results. He emphasised that on average, 50 officials from USVP are involved in the Lok Sabha election training process.
It will be recalled that the high school and intermediate exams started on February 27 and concluded on March 16. The UVSP has established 29 centres across the state, with 16 in Garhwal region and 13 in Kumaon region, for the evaluation of the board examination answer sheets. A total of 6,90,564 high school students and 4,47,596 intermediate students have completed their exams under UVSP. Apart from this, a total of 3,674 teachers have been assigned to evaluate the answer sheets of the board examination.
